About the Richmond Ferry Church Vision and Mission:
The Richmond Ferry Church project is a social enterprise with a mission to create an arts-driven collaborative environment, where organizations, groups, and individuals can effectively pursue, enhance, or expand their entrepreneurial or organizational mission.
Our vision includes a vibrant artistic campus that unifies our neighborhoods and city through multicultural and multimedia artistic production and exploration. Movement, music, color and sound – the basis for a new upper west side experience.
About the church development team:
The Development Team includes the owners, 467 Richmond Ave LLC. and representatives from the Rosanna Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts as project leads. Additionally, Blue Sky Concepts, a division of Blue Sky Design Supply, Inc., provides project coordination services and acts as the owner’s development coordinator. To facilitate community development design, Ecostandard Urban Design consultants provide urban research, planning, and development services. Blue Sky and Ecostandard coordinate the planning, and will work directly with the architects, contractors and subcontractors hired to develop physical/spatial as well as programmatic options for the two buildings. In addition, the project development team has assembled an advisory group of community stakeholders and members of the arts community.
